Dr. Stephen Sexton
(B.Sc.D.O., M.A.O.A.)

Dr Sexton graduated from Monash University in 1982 after completing a science degree with a double major in physiology and pharmacology. |
 |
He then attended the British school of osteopathy in London graduating in 1987. |
 |
After returning home to Melbourne in 1987 he started private practice with Dr. V. M. Davidson in Caulfield and in 1988 opened the Brunswick Osteopathic and sports injuries clinic. |
 |
Dr. Sexton worked as a tutor, examiner and a lecturer at RMIT for over twelve years and in the early 1990's supervised the compulsory professional year for the early graduates. |
 |
Dr. Sexton held office in the Australian Osteopathic Association 1989 and 1990 and in 1990 set up the RMIT student clinic known as MOC, located in Swanston st. Melbourne. |

In 2000 Dr. Sexton with the significant help of Dr. Dennis Bussi setup a study and research group for new graduates, now known as Australian Osteopathic Research and Study Group (AORSG). |

Dr. Sexton helps look after and consults for many well none physical performing companies and sports organizations such as, Circus Oz, The fruit flies, Australian school of ballet, Australian Ballet company, Chunky moves, Melbourne theater company, Victorian Karate team and Australian Karate team. |

Dr. Sexton has also been involved in the treatment of several oversea productions such as Cloud gate, First blood, Mozart's arias and many more. |

Dr. Sexton is currently the principle practitioner at MOSIP and heads the Australian Osteopathy Research and Study Group. |

Dr. Rohan J. Armstrong

With 12 years experience, Rohan has been practising at this clinic since graduating in 1992, and has also gained nearly 3 years overseas experience in the UK and USA . |

Experience |

Whilst working in private practice in England for more than 18 months in Bradford , West Yorkshire he worked in close association with a large sports centre and various sporting people including professional body builders, boxers, Rugby League and Association Football (soccer) players. He was also part of a pilot program for Osteopathic treatment covered by public health and in conjunction with local GPs. |

In 1999, Rohan travelled to Reno , Nevada in the USA to work with a touring dance company from the UK as their Osteopath. He was responsible for treatment and maintenance of all dancers and their injuries, exercise prescription, rehabilitation and general wellbeing of the dance company. |

In 2000, Rohan returned from overseas and resumed working in the practice and building on his experience in treatment of people of all diverse backgrounds and levels of physical ability. |

Locally, Rohan has worked with various sportspeople, performers and organisations of many levels, from footballers, ballet dancers, World Aerobics competitors, cyclists, track athletes and more recently with preparing Winter Olympians. He currently works closely with a large gymnasium and many personal trainers to oversee and implement personal training programs, injury and rehabilitation management. Whatever age or level you're at, Rohan's intervention aims to help you get the most out of what you do. |

Given Rohan's past and present competitive involvement in many sports and activities he has a broad understanding of conditions and injuries with these sports, and is actively researching and studying for further insight into these areas. He has a special interest in the role of exercise in health and lifestyle, the treatment of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and the enhancement of performance. |

Dr. Patrick Mudge
B. Sc. (Clinical Sc.), M.H.Sc. (Osteo.), M.A.O.A.

Patrick first graduated from Victoria University in 2002, after completing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Clinical Science. He continued his study of Osteopathy at Victoria University, and in 2004 completed a Master of Health Science degree in Osteopathy. During this time he undertook research in the treatment of spinal motion restrictions. |
 |
Over the past 4 years, he has worked with amateur football clubs and has been involved in the management and prevention of acute and chronic football injuries. His experience also extends to the professional sporting level, treating the Australian Women’s Basketball Team in 2002. |
 |
Patrick has also worked with various other athletes, including runners, cyclists, soccer players, tennis players, golfers, weight trainers, dancers and acrobats. |
 |
He has a particular interest in treating conditions arising from the stresses and strains of daily life, including back and neck pain, headache, shoulder and arm pain, jaw pain and leg pain. His treatment and management goals are to help his patients carry out the demands of their chosen lifestyle free of pain and without restriction. |
